Upon arrival at Mauritius International Airport, you will be met by our local representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Mauritius, a sparkling crystal in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, will fascinate you. The contrast of colors, cultures and tastes makes the island so charming that the scene is set for an unforgettable holiday. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and explore this piece of paradise on your own pace.

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an exciting and eventful day. Explore the fascinating Port Louis. Drive through the Labourdonnais Avenue and explore the beautiful old French Colonial buildings. Later, explore the Fortress of Citadel and the Champ De Mars Race Course before heading towards the building complex which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site – Aparvashi Ghat. Soak in the history here and then head to the beautiful Caudan Waterfront square and the harbor. After this, you could indulge in the goodness of the Port Louis Bazaar and the Commercial City. If you think that you have seen enough, there is much more left! You will be left spellbound when you visit the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden which boasts of a great collection of beautiful exotic plants. (The entry fee has to be paid directly). After a long and exciting day, return to your hotel.

Post breakfast, experience a thrilling speed boat ride across to the island of Ile Aux Cerf – an emerald lagoon on the east coast. Revel in the beauty of fine white sand and clear blue waters. The rest of the time here, is at leisure to relax on the beach or indulge in the various water sports activities, kayaking, parasailing, scuba diving and snorkelling just to name a few (all activities are at additional cost and payable directly).

Today, seated in the coach, we will be driven to Floreal, to visit the making of Ship at a Model Ship Factory. You will discover exceptionally well handcrafted ship models made in Mauritius. Continue your tour by being driven till Curepipe area for Trou Aux Cerfs – an extinct crater of the Volcano in the centre of the island which offers a majestic 360 degree view of the valley. Just nearby is the sacred lake of Grand Bassin also known as Ganga Talao & and offer prayers at the Shiv temple located on the banks of the lake. The compound enhouses the stunning 108 feet statue of “Mangal Mahadev”.

From here, we will be driven to Chamarel, for the unusual 7 colored earth created by volcanic rocks, the earth forms beautiful patterns of color in the exposed hillsides. You will walk around at the seven colored earth a geological site , a natural phenomenon whose colors evolved through conversion of basaltic lava to clay minerals . Just Nearby, view the startlingly beautiful Chamarel waterfalls surrounded by lush vegetation of the Black River Gorges. The water here tumble from a height of about 83 meters. You can enjoy a vivid view of the waterfalls form both the lower and upper viewpoint from the Black River National Park.

By evening, you will be transferred to your accommodation where you will have dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day  at Casela Bird park – a world of Adventure which includes four thematic worlds: Safari, Nature, Mountain and Water in the form of  Mountain Kingdom: Canyoning, Via Ferrata, Zip Lines and Climbing Wall.

Safari Kingdom: Quad, Photo Safari, dedicated area for Big Cats, Elephants and suitable for safaris and interactions with Giraffes.

Water Kingdom: Wave pool, Toboggans (children and adults), a lagoon as well as an artificial river. For Big Cats lovers, this is a dream come true! Far from the African savannah, experience the thrill of coming close to the King and other big cats! Included in the ticket price is the visit to the Big Cats Park where you would enjoy a close view of the lions, cheetahs and tigers. Segway and Quad Biking is also possible (on direct payment basis).

Experience walking with the Lions in Mauritius’ at Casela Park (on direct payment basis).The Interaction is a unique activity of lifetime with one of these impressive predators (Lions, Cheetahs) in their compound.  Big cat enthusiasts will enjoy the thrill of getting up close and personal with the king of the jungle get a chance to befriend some lions, interact with the mighty beasts and take a walk with them at Casela Park. Interactions with lions at Casela last approximately 10 to 15 minutes inside the enclosures. Post breakfast, you can choose to stay back at the hotel and relax or explore the glorious island through a Catamaran Cruise. Discover the beauty of Mauritius by sailing through the crystal-clear water with breath taking scenery all around. This 42 feet long luxury vessel sailing through the calm waters gives you a spectacular view of the surroundings with the sunset providing an amazing back-drop and is a must activity to do, when visiting Mauritius.

As part of this cruise tour, you will discover the dolphins of Tamarin bay, visit the famous Crystal rock, which stands out in the middle of the lagoon and spend time on Benitiers Island for some relaxation on its beautiful sandy beaches. Then the catamaran will depart heading to Tamarin Bay area where you can encounter dolphins in their natural habitat. This is a unique chance to explore the lives of these magnificent marine mammals in their aquatic habitat.

Enjoy the delicious BBQ buffet lunch prepared by the friendly crew (fresh grilled fish and chicken served with rice salad and dessert as well as a selection of soft drinks, beer, wine and rum) set on the beach or on the catamaran.

Come back to the resort after a delightful day and treat your taste buds to a warm dinner. Retreat to your room and prepare for the journey back home, the following day.
